What works today

You can browse and download curated starter packs without an account. These are Photo Play Studio samples, not submissions from other families. Their sources and illustration credits appear with each pack. Any child shown in a sample is fictional.

Choosing your own photo

In this concept preview, choosing a photo displays it only in your browser. It is not uploaded, sent to an image provider, saved in your library, or published to the gallery. The six-activity sample preview is prepared artwork; it is not a transformation of your chosen photo. Remove the photo or close the page to clear that preview.

Saved packs and demo points

Saved starter-pack references are stored on this device. They do not sync to an account and do not include your photo. Your browser settings can clear this local data. The points demonstration uses example values, has no cash value, and does not pay creators. Downloading a starter pack is free and does not earn points.

Sharing is a separate choice

Public uploads are not open. The sharing preview describes a future review process; it does not publish anything. The planned service will keep creations private unless their creator explicitly chooses to submit a finished pack for review. Original photos will not be included automatically. Creators will need permission for the images and people depicted, including a parent or guardian’s permission for a child.

Existing closed-test infrastructure

The earlier single-page generation endpoint remains disabled. If that closed test is enabled separately, it validates and strips metadata from a photo before sending it through OpenRouter to an image provider. That flow does not persist original photos in our database or object storage. Generated results require owner authentication, expire after 24 hours, and are scheduled for storage deletion after one day; automatic cleanup can occur later. Account and attempt records are retained separately. These older facilities are not the six-activity service shown here.

Image providers have their own processing and retention policies. Public photo generation, community publishing, account deletion, moderation, point purchases and creator rewards require further implementation and review before launch.
