A practical note from Photo Play Studio
Preschool printables & kindergarten worksheets for home learning
Educational printables can be a calm, screen-free part of learning at home. This guide shows how Photo Play’s free packs fit preschool and kindergarten-age children, homeschool routines and busy bags, and where a grown-up should help. They are playful practice pages, not a curriculum.
Match the activity to the child, not the age
Children develop at different paces. Free colouring and naming the picture suit the earliest stage. Colour by number practises matching numbers to a key. Mosaic grids and 36–40-dot connect-the-dots sequences ask for more counting and patience. The cut-and-build puzzle needs a grown-up to cut the pieces.
Everyday learning activities in one pack
Each pack keeps one familiar subject across 6 pages, so a child can colour it, count around it, rebuild it and tell a story about it. Talking about the picture while working builds vocabulary, and the story page invites drawing, telling or early writing. Pages are in English.
Homeschool printables without a big plan
Choose one pack a week and use a page a day, or print a single activity to go with a theme such as animals, vehicles or nature. Download only the pages you need as one-page PDFs in Letter or A4, so nothing is wasted.
Busy bag activities for quiet time
Print a colouring page and a dot-to-dot, add a few crayons and keep the pre-cut puzzle pieces in an envelope. A busy bag works well for waiting rooms, travel or a sibling’s nap. Loose paper pieces are not suitable for babies; keep small pieces and scissors with a grown-up.
Make one from their own photo
A favourite toy or pet can become the subject. Create a private pack from your own photo without signing up. Free tries are limited to 5 packs in any 24 hours; after that, each pack uses one generation credit, from US$0.99. Your pack stays available for 24 hours, so save the PDFs you want to keep.
