Refunds and credits
Updated September 30, 2026. This page explains how generation credits work and how to ask for a refund.
How credits work
One generation credit makes one private pack of six activities from your photo. Starting a pack reserves one credit. If the pack cannot be made, the credit is returned automatically. Automatic quality retries do not use extra credits. Credits do not expire while Photo Play operates.
Google Play purchases (Android app)
Purchases in the Android app are handled by Google Play. You can request a refund through Google Play; Google's refund policies apply. If Google refunds a purchase, the credits from it are removed from your balance.
PayPal purchases (web)
If you have not used any credits from a web purchase, email byunginhb@gmail.com within 14 days of purchase with your order number from the Account page, and we will refund it in full to your PayPal account. Credits that have been used to make packs are not refundable, except where a pack failed and the credit was already returned, or where the law requires otherwise.
If something went wrong
If you were charged but did not receive credits, open the Account page and use Check unfinished purchases in the app, or email us with your order number. We will make it right.
Refunds and disputes remove the credits from that purchase. If those credits were already used, new purchases may be paused until the balance is resolved. This page does not limit your rights under consumer protection law.
