Free mosaic coloring & pixel coloring worksheets
A grid of numbered squares turns a simplified picture into a pixel-style mosaic. Colour the numbered cells using the key; blank squares stay white. The grid deliberately loses small details, so it is not an exact portrait.
How to play
- Set out colours matching the key before beginning.
- Work through one colour or one small section at a time.
- Leave blank squares white and step back to see the picture appear.
Mosaics take more patience than a large-shape colouring page. Preview the grid first and choose an activity suited to the child’s interest and comfort.
